The School of Biomedical Sciences received a delegation of 8 persons from the Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand on 3 May 2013. During the visit, the delegation met with Prof. Chan Wai-yee, School Director and Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Associate Director (Graduate Education) to learn the structure and latest development of both institutions and to explore opportunities of collaboration in areas of mutual interests, especially in terms of graduate education and research. After the meeting, the delegates were guided to visit our Core Laboratories and the Animal Holding Core at the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building.
Along with our existing efforts, the initial exchange with the Srinakharinwirot University showed our continued commitment to establishing closer academic connections with the academia in Southeast Asia.
