A group of participants of the first Belt and Road & Greater Bay Area Chinese Medicine Training Programme (The Programme) visited the School of Biomedical Sciences on 15 August 2019. During their visit, they were arranged to meet members of the Core Laboratories and have a tour of the different core research facilities of the School.
The Programme was jointly organized by the School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) and the Office of Academic Links (China) (OALC), The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 11 to 17 August 2019, attracting a total of 45 local and mainland scholars and practitioners specializing in Chinese Medicine. They came from Pok Oi Hospital Chinese Medicine Service unit, Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine, Ningxia Medical University, Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, etc. Through a series of thematic presentations, lectures and visits, the Programme aims to advance sharing and exchanges among participants of relevant fields in the two regions and strengthen the scholarly network for promoting the continuous development and breakthrough of Chinese Medicine research and application.
