The School’s accredited professional programme comprises four-year BSSc in Architectural Studies and two-year MArch degrees. Other degree programmes include the BSSc in Urban Studies, co-organised with the Department of Geography and Resource Management, the MSc in Urban Design, in addition to the MPhil and PhD research degrees.

The first part of a two-degree sequence in professional architectural education provides a basis for education in general and preparation for professional work as an architect in particular.

Co-organised with the Department of Geography and Resource Management, the programme is designed for students to explore the complexities and challenges of the rapidly evolving urban world, global urbanisation processes and various strands of urbanism.
Master of Architecture
The second part of a two-degree sequence in professional architectural education offers a series of research-based advanced studios and independent design explorations for students who intend to become architects.
Master of Science in Urban Design
The taught postgraduate programme offers a combination of design studios and focused modules, through which students develop design skills while integrating new knowledge such as community participation, ecosystems, transport networks, urban history and environmental economy.
Master of Philosophy and
Doctor of Philosophy
The School offers research degrees at Master’s and Doctoral levels for students to conduct original academic research, usually through participating in the School’s design studios or research units.
