Introduction
Claude is the Design Director and Partner at Henning Larsen Architects in charge of the Hong Kong studio.
Claude led the design of the new campus for French International School of HK completed in 2018 and of the Shaw Multipurpose Auditorium in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology due to complete in 2021. Claude is also responsible for several built cultural and commercial projects as well as masterplans in China.
Educated in Denmark and trained at Ateliers Jean Nouvel in Paris for 6 years, Claude cofounded Henning Larsen Hong Kong after winning a competition for Hangzhou East Lake Opera, completed in 2019.
Starting a Master Studio in Chinese University of Hong Kong – together with Elva Tang – under the title “How to build for Hong Kong? A charter for a sustainable architecture in Hong Kong”, Claude is advocating for the city to reinvent its architecture to address the climate and the specific challenges of Hong Kong.
Claude is Registered Architect in Denmark and France. He is also an AIA Associate Member in the US.
