Professor Martin Wong, the mentors of Candy and Prilla, remarked the mentorship programme as a conducive way to identify mentees' strengths. 'A closer relationship of mentor and mentee not only provides room to enhance student’s leadership quality, also enables student to explore their interest and develop their strengths'. In addition to the high academic potentials, Candy and Prilla exhibit an exceptional talent in research, which is now ascertained by their distinguished achievement made.

Candy Kang and Prilla Tsang are the first two undergraduate students in Hong Kong listed as co-first authors in an international leading journal, International Journal of Cardiology.
