Novel machine learning models predict HCC more accurately

post

Machine learning is fast becoming a competitive model that minimises bias in Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) prediction. This study demonstrated that HCC ridge score, built from machine learning model, was consistently more accurate than existing HCC risk scores to predict HCC in patients with chronic viral hepatitis. It may incorporate into electronic medical health systems to develop appropriate cancer surveillance strategies and reduce cancer mortality.
