Job Description

-    Supporting the investment team in the appraisal and execution of investment opportunities across various asset classes (equities, fixed incomes and collective investment schemes);
-    Conducting regular due diligence on existing and potential investment opportunities across various asset classes (equities, fixed incomes and collective investment schemes);
-    Assisting our traders in buying and selling of various financial securities on behalf of our company and its clientele;
-    Monitoring the financial performance of existing investment strategies against stated investment objectives and targets;
-    Researching new investment strategies to enhance our asset allocation and portfolio construction methodologies;
-    Drafting investment papers prior to the submission to the investment committee;
-    Preparing presentations and investment proposals to our senior management and relationship management team;
-    Maintaining our internal database for our approved product list.

Qualifications and requirements

-          University graduate with relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Mathematics and Computer Programming.);

-          Good oral and written communication skills;

-          Willingness and ability to solve problems independently;

-          Proficiency in MS Office applications;

-          Computer programming skills are preferred (e.g. VBA);

-          English and Chinese fluency is required for this role.
