CUHK Business School Announces the Inaugural Faculty Teaching Excellence Award

CUHK Business School has recently announced the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award 2014-2015 (FTEA). This is the first year of the FTEA to be introduced to honour faculty members for their excellent performance and achievements.
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School has recently announced the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award 2014-2015 (FTEA). This is the first year of the FTEA to be introduced to honour faculty members for their excellent performance and achievements. The awardees this year are:
- David Ahlstrom, Professor, Department of Management
- Jessica Kwong, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing
- Andrew Yuen, Senior Lecturer, Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics and Associate Director of Aviation Policy and Research Center
All academic staff and students of the School are allowed to make nominations. Each nomination will be reviewed by a selection panel comprises the Chairperson of the Faculty Committee on Teaching and Learning Quality (FCTLQ), a previous FTEA awardee, an associate dean and a teaching excellence awardee from other faculties. Only a maximum of three awards are made every year. In recognition of their contributions, each awardee will receive a professional allowance of HK$10,000 and a commemorative plaque specially designed for the award.
