在課程前兩年，我們的教職員和助教將帶領學生探索中國大陸、香港或台灣的各個地區，通過深入的實地考察了解當地文化，並參與當地社區。沉浸式學習得以幫助學生在現實生活場景中集中訓練他們的語言溝通能力，使他們在就業市場和學術生涯中受益。
沉浸式學習課程之外，本中心還開設實習，社會企業學習等課程，通過商業、教育、非政府組織等各個領域的實踐向學生介紹中國社會。
經過兩年的學習，掌握了第一手中國知識的學生可以在第三年和第四年尋求申請實習的機會，或參與與中國有關的調研項目。總而言之，沉浸式學習部分旨在為學生畢業後開展與中國相關的職業做好準備。
