for New Full-time Undergraduate Students

Time:1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Faculty/Programme: students of Faculty of Business Administration, Education (Early Childhood Education (2-year programme)), Engineering, Law, Medicine (Community Health Practice, Gerontology and Public Health), Social Science, the Double Degree Programme of Bachelor of Business Administration (Integrated BBA Programme) and Juris Doctor (BBA-JD), the Programme of Global Economics and Finance (GLEFN) and Quantitative Finance & Risk Management (QFRMN) should attend the “Information Session on Academic Curriculum” and the “Academic Counselling Session” held by individual programmes/Faculty according to the schedule below.
I. Information Session on Academic Curriculum
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Venue: Sir Run Run Shaw Hall (SRRSH)
The Information Session is held by the Registry and offices concerned for introducing the academic curriculum, course registration procedures, academic honesty, student exchange and related information.
Students should arrive 30 minutes earlier for seating arrangements at SRRSH and will also receive an information folder on related information for preparation of the new academic year. For students who cannot understand Cantonese, they should go to Lecture Theatre 103 at Y.C. Liang Hall (adjacent to SRRSH) for the English version of the video.
II. Academic Counselling Session by Major / Programme
Time: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Academic counselling will be conducted by academic staff on programme-related information. New students must attend according to their Major / Programme at the venues listed below:
