A student who for medical or other compelling reasons is unable to sit for any Centralized Course Examinations MUST apply for absence from examination in accordance with University Regulations.
- For reasons other than medical reasons: Students should submit application as early as possible with related supporting documents for consideration and approval by relevant approval authority.
- For medical and/or other health reasons: Students should submit application with the original copy of the medical certificate (NOT attendance certificate) at the earliest possible instance but no later than 5 working days after the examination concerned.

A student who is absent from any examination without permission shall be given a failure grade in that examination.
