Course Add/Drop for University Summer Session 2021-22 |
Dear Students, |
The first teaching day of the University Summer Session will begin on 16 May 2022. Please be reminded of the following concerning the course add/drop for the University Summer Session. |
1. |
Schedules of course add/drop |
a. |
For classes with first teaching day that commences from 16 May to 21 May 2022: |
Except for classes with add/drop consent, students should perform course add/drop using the system functions under CUSIS from 16 May (8:30 p.m. Monday) to 22 May (8:30 p.m. Sunday). All course add/drops under CUSIS will be in batch mode and course add is on first-come first-served basis, subject to fulfillment of course enrolment rules and quota availability. Students MUST check ‘View My Classes’ under CUSIS to check the add/drop results. For classes with add/drop consent, students should seek department’s approval by submitting the “Course Add/Drop Form for University Summer Session”. |
b. |
For classes with first teaching day that commences on or after 23 May 2022: |
Students need to approach the course offering department concerned and submit the “Course Add/Drop Form for University Summer Session” to seek approval for course add/drop within the first teaching week. For example, if the first teaching day of a class is on 3 June, students should approach the course offering department on or before 9 June for course add/drop. |
2. |
Wait list under CUSIS |
The wait list information of the add/drop period will be removed from CUSIS on 23 May. Since students on the wait list will enroll in class automatically if some students drop the course or when departments add quota, students should check the course enrollment record daily to keep updated. Students MUST remove their name from wait list on their own as soon as possible if they do not intend to take the course. Students should check ‘View My Classes’ under CUSIS on 24 May again to make sure their final course enrollment is correct. |
