FINAL Examination Timetable, 2nd term 2021-22 |
Dear Students, |
Please note the following information pertaining to 2nd term FINAL Examination Timetable. |
1. |
FINAL Examination Timetable |
The FINAL Examination Timetable has been released on CUSIS under the tab “Exam Timetable for UG Courses” today (11 April 2022). When students enquire the FINAL Examination Timetable, please pay attention to (a) for face-to-face examinations, the examination venue and seat number assigned will be shown, and (b) for online examinations, the invigilation arrangements (i.e. self-arranged invigilation, no invigilation) will be shown. |
As there have been further updates to the DRAFT Examination Timetable on mode of examination (e.g. change from online to face-to-face or vice-versa, or from self-arranged invigilation to no invigilation, etc.), students MUST check carefully their FINAL Examination Timetable under CUSIS for the date, time, mode of examination and venue assigned (for face-to-face examination only) and attend the course examinations accordingly. |
For individual students with special education needs (SEN), the FINAL Examination Timetable released may NOT be applicable to them. Students concerned should refer to separate e-mail/notification from RES/course teachers/Departments for their examination arrangements, and contact RES if they have not received the information by 19 April 2022. |
If there are any questions regarding the mode of examination, please contact the course teachers concerned directly. |
2. |
Absence from Centralized Course Examinations |
If there are genuine difficulties to attend the online examination (e.g. due to network/home environment), students should seek advice or assistance from the course teachers concerned so that suitable venue on campus can be arranged for them to take the online examination. Students who are NOT residing in Hong Kong should also contact the course teachers concerned if they cannot sit the online examination at the specified time due to time zone/other problems. In all cases, students who cannot attend the examination(s) on the specified examination date stated in the FINAL Examination Timetable MUST apply for absence from examination in accordance with University Regulations. A student who is absent from any examination without permission shall be given a failure grade in that examination. Please observe the following in submitting the applications. |
i. |
For reasons other than medical reasons: Students should submit application as early as possible with related supporting documents for consideration and approval by relevant approval authority. |
ii. |
For medical and/or other health reasons: Students should submit application with the original copy of the medical certificate (NOT attendance certificate) at the earliest possible instance but no later than 5 working days after the examination concerned. |
