Call For Abstracts: The 12th APRU Population Ageing Conference 2022 With A Theme Of Ageing At The Time Of Crisis (Extended Deadline: 31 August 2022)

The 12th APRU Population Aging Conference themed ‘Aging at the Time of Crisis: Understanding Needs, Navigating New Challenges’ is calling for abstract submissions. The conference will be held virtually during 10-11 November 2022 and participation is free of charge. Interested faculty members and graduate students should submit their abstracts online by the extended deadline of 31 August 2022.

Abstract Topics

  • Macro-economic and policy-related challenges (fiscal and health-related elements)
  • Work and income security
  • Social engagement and social isolation/exclusion
  • Technology use and digital divide
  • Care ecosystems and caregiving responsibilities
  • Physical and mental well-being including cognitive function and dementia
  • Intergenerational relationships
  • Translating research into practice (evidence-based research)

The Conference is co-organized by the Centre for Ageing Research & Education (CARE) at Duke-NUS Medical School, National University of Singapore, and the School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University.
