In September/October 2011, many of the Global Business Studies (GBS) graduating students received return offers from the employers of their summer internship, which include Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. Three graduates will work as Administrative Officer in the HKSAR Government and others will be working at Hang Seng Bank, McKinsey & Company, and Standard Chartered Bank.
Some of the graduates will pursue further study in the United Kingdom. Two of them will study laws at the University of Cambridge and University College London respectively. One will study Master of Music at the School of Keyboards of Royal Northern College of Music. Another student is considering between University of Oxford and London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Two GBS students are receiving graduate scholarships. Miss Alice Lau was awarded the Sir Run Run Shaw Gold Medal by Shaw College, which is the highest honour for Shaw students. Miss Amis Lau was awarded the Sir Run Run Shaw Postgraduate Scholarship from United College.
