A CUHK team of first year students won the championship in the Deloitte Club uShine Case Challenge 2011, organized by the Deloitte Club and sponsored by Deloitte Touche Tohmastsu.
The uShine Case Challenge 2011, being held for the first time, aimed at enhancing undergraduates' understanding of the accounting profession, and offering a platform to enrich their analytical, presentation and team-playing skills. Over 140 teams participated and eight teams were selected in the final round. The participants were asked to propose campaigns to help Deloitte fulfill its corporate social responsibility goals in Mainland China.
The winning team comprised two Global Business Studies (GBS) students, Victor Kwok (second from right) and Tony Law (first from right). The team was awarded a cash prize of HK$6,000 and internship opportunities offered by Deloitte.
