SH20220830DI – Student Helpers, Research Support and Digital Initiative (Closing Date: 23 September 2022)
The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the Research Support and Digital Initiatives of the University Library.
Job Duties: (i) develop codes to analyse data and tell stories with the University and CUHK Library resources; (ii) work with the Library team to develop a project webpage; and (iii) develop a poster and give a presentation on a project poster. Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 to 5:30 pm during weekdays from October 2022 to February 2023
Working Location: Research Support and Digital Initiatives Office, University Library
Hourly Rate: $60/Hour

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the Library Administration Office of the University Library.
Job Duties: (i) reviewing website and PowerPoint; (ii) assisting in inventory work; (iii) filing, data input, and materials distribution and (iv) other clerical duties as assigned.
Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be flexible within office hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 to 5:30 pm during weekdays

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the Learning Garden and MakerSpace.
Job Duties: (i) support 24 hours operation at service counter; (ii) provide computing and photocopying support; (iii) answer general enquiries; (iv) monitor turnstile access and take head count at designated time intervals; and (v) other duties as assigned.
Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week and will be allocated on a rotational basis between (a) 10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. of the next day from Monday to Friday; (b) 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. of the next day during weekends and public holidays.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library is recruiting student helpers to work at the New Asia College Ch’ien Mu Library and United College Wu Chung Library.
Job Duties: (i) provide help desk services; (ii) answer general enquiries; (iii) monitor swing gate access and take head count at designated time intervals; and (iv) other duties as assigned.
Working Days and Hours: working time will not exceed 17.5 hours per week* and will be allocated on a rotational basis during night time, weekends and /or public holidays – (a) Monday to Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Friday 5:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; (b) Saturday 8:15 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; (c) Sunday 10:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and (d) Public Holiday 8:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (*may engage more working hours during summer time from 1 June to 31 August 2022)
