The Loud Blokes(外一篇) 中大四十年, English articles, Sound of Silence, 大聲公 葉蔭聰 原載《打開》第20期,1999年6月3日 Why are the loud-hailers known as “loud blokes”; and not “loud chicks”? Why must they be “blokes”? It seems reasonable. Probably most of the people with loud-hailers in their hands in protests are males. Also-; the loudest of them are always in the hands of “blokes”; not “chicks”. It is the voice of “blokes” such as Szeto Wah and Cheung Man-kwong the come through the loud-hailers chanting “Remember June 4” and “Overturn the Verdict of June 4”. One seldom hears voices of “chicks”. Fortunately-; there are very often a bunch of uncooperative kids walking somewhere behind the leading “loud blokes”. Quite a number of them are indeed “loud chicks”. 分享至: Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website 在瀏覽器中儲存顯示名稱、電子郵件地址及個人網站網址,以供下次發佈留言時使用。 八 − = 1 Δ
