《中大學生報》是中大學生會內最早成立的非牟利校園媒體，始辦於1969年。近年的中大學生報多以月刊或雙月刊形式出版，每年亦會出版《八九民運特刊》及《迎新特刊》。我們除了關心與同學息息相關的山城大小事外，也積極關注社會各個議題，並力求帶出各種被主流媒體所忽略的聲音及觀點。在編採過程中，我們沿用集體編輯制；亦拒絕以客觀中立為名，掩蓋媒體自身的立場。 有見於網絡已成為重要的資訊接收渠道，我們亦積極利用網上平台，報導突發且重要的校園新聞及社會事件，突破常刊的限制，緊貼時事。另外，我們亦希望透過網絡平台促進校園以至社會的討論，歡迎讀者就各項議題評論甚或爭辯。 “CUHK Student Press” is the earliest non-profit campus media established in the CUHK Student Union, which was first run in 1969. In recent years, the CUHK student newspapers are mostly published in the form of monthly or bimonthly magazines. The “1989 Democracy Movement Special Issue” and the “New Year Special Issue” are also published every year. In addition to caring about the big and small things that are closely related to our classmates, we also actively pay attention to various social issues, and strive to bring out all kinds of voices and opinions that are ignored by the mainstream media. In the editing process, we continue to use the collective editing system; we also refuse to cover up the media’s own position in the name of objective neutrality. In view of the fact that the Internet has become an important channel for receiving information, we are also actively using online platforms to report sudden and important campus news and social events, breaking through the limitations of regular publications, and keeping abreast of current events. In addition, we also hope to promote discussion on campus and even in society through the online platform. Readers are welcome to comment or even argue on various issues.
