Welcome Message from Co-Chairman, Vice President of OGSHK

Dear Colleagues and Members,

I am delighted to announce the ‘FOCUS in O&G’ meeting which will be held on 17-18 Nov 2018 in Hong Kong. ‘FOCUS’ stands for Fertility, Obstetrics, Cancer, Urogynaecology and Endoscopic Surgery, the different areas in the specialty of O&G.  The meeting is organized jointly by the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Hong Kong (OGSHK) and the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong Kong as the previous successful FOCUS meetings in 2011 and 2015 respectively.  ‘FOCUS’ reflects the most important missions of the OGSHK which are to provide continuous medical education and to maintain the O&G fraternity. As the knowledge and technique in our specialty is rapidly changing over the last few years, it is important that we keep ourselves updated and prepared for the upcoming challenges. We are working hard on a comprehensive program which should cover academic interests as well as practical clinical issues. Experts from different parts of the world will gather here in Hong Kong, share our experience and get know to each other. Besides Hong Kong is such an international city which connects people and cultures from everywhere. I truly believe all of us will enjoy the conference, the workshops and the social gatherings.
