SOPHIE Course – Safe Obstetric Practice for High risk and Emergency Course

Overview

Our course is designed to prepare the participants with practical skills to apply in varied obstetric emergent situations. It will cover the topics of shoulder dystociam, ECV and vaginal breech delivery, cord prolapse and vaginal twin delivery, instrumental delivery and second stage and Caesarean, intrapartum fetal heart rate monitoring and cord prolapse, PPH after vaginal delivery, maternal collapse and resuscitation, maternal sepsis, and hypertensive disorders and eclampsia.

Mode of Study

Our course consists of three parts:

  1. 8 webinars (1 hour each)
  2. Hands-on Workshop*
  3. Examination*

* Only participants who have attended all 8 webinars will be eligible to register the hands-on workshop and sit for the examination.
* Participants who completed the hands-on workshop and passed the examination will be granted a certificate.
