We are much delighted to share that our faculty member Dr. Danny Ng received the Gold Medal Award for his outstanding participation in the Leadership Development Program (LDP) of Asia-Pacific Vitreo-retina Society (APVRS), as judged by a panel of international faculty of APVRS, at the APVRS Congress in Seoul in December 2018.
In addition, Dr Ng was also presented the Best Self-Initiated Project Award from the APVRS LDP, for his significant contributions to the development and operation of our CUHK Jockey Club Ophthalmic Microsurgical Training Programme. Our Chairman, Prof Tham states : “This is not only a recognition of Danny’s contributions, but also of all our colleagues participating in and contributing to this programme.
