‘SOPHIE’ stands for Safe Obstetric Practice for High risk & Emergency.
SOPHIE is not simply a training course on practical skills, but it also emphasizes on the wisdom (the meaning of ‘sophie’ in Greek) in applying those skills in real emergent situation, e.g.:
