CUHK Eye Centre and CUHK Jockey Club Ophthalmic Microsurgical Training Programme Open Day

The CUHK Eye Centre and CUHK Jockey Club Ophthalmic Microsurgical Training Programme Open Day was organized from 9th to 10th February during the APAO Congress 2018 Hong Kong.

We were exceedingly delighted to invite the delegates of APAO Congress to visit our department and allow us to introduce different aspects of our academic activities, research and clinical works as well as the state-of-the-art facilities. The open day was especially brightened by the VIP Guided Tour on 10th February, with more than 40 leaders in ophthalmology from different parts of the world participated in it.

Led by Prof Clement Tham and Prof Calvin Pang, our distinguished guests in the VIP Guided Tour visited our CUHK Eye Centre, Lee Wing Kit Advanced Ophthalmic Training and Education Centre, Lim Por-yen Eye Genetics Research Centre, Pao So Kok Macular Disease Treatment and Research Centre, CUHK Ophthalmic Research Centre and the CUHK Jockey Club Ophthalmic Microsurgical Training Programme. Our VIPs, including Prof William Mieler, one of the international advisors of the training programme, were impressed with our state-of-the-art facilities. The guided tour ended after our department video show and Prof Pang’s closing remarks. We were very thankful to all distinguished guests for joining our open day.
