She got her doctoral degree in 1995 majoring in clinical psychology (specialized in neuropsychology) from the University of California at San Diego. Being a very experienced clinical neuropsychologist herself, Prof. Chan has been providing clinical services for patients with brain disorders for over 20 years, specializing in Alzheimer’s disease, autism spectrum disorders, amnesia, stroke, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. While she was in the United States, she had served at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Medical Center, the Sharp Rehabilitation Center in San Diego, and the Alzheimer’s disease Research Center

Sze Lai Man, Sophia, (Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, CUHK)
Dr Sophia Sze Lai Man is a registered clinical psychologist of the Division of Clinical Psychology of Hong Kong Psychological Society. Dr Sze obtained a Master of Social Sciences and a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Clinical Psychology) in 2004 and 2009 respectively at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Since graduation, she has been working at CUHK as a clinical psychologist to provide neuropsychological assessment and cognitive training for individuals with brain disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, dementia) and to assist clinical research on examining the electroencephalographic pattern associated with various brain disorders and exploring potential interventions for those patients.
Lau Mei Ting, Eliza (Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, CUHK)
Eliza is a clinical psychologist perform psychological assessment and intervention. They assess children’s intelligence, attention, learning abilities, emotions and behaviours. In order to support children to live a happier life, Eliza, a clinical psychologist, has 20 years of experience working with special-needs children mostly. Eliza obtained a Master of Science in Gerontology in 2005 to gain more understanding in the ageing population in Hong Kong. Prior to private practice, Eliza has practised in an NGO, and the Child Assessment Service at the Department of Health from 1998 to 2007. She served as clinical supervisor for Clinical Psychology trainees for 5 years. She has also served in an attachment service at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. She obtained her Doctoral degree in April 2017 with specialty in people with autism spectrum disorders.
