uReply is a campus-wide classroom communication tool for use with mobile devices designed to facilitate teacher-student interactions. It has the following characteristics and features:
- Ease of use: Students are allowed to use their own mobile devices (e.g. smart phone, tablet and notebook) instead of the keyboard devices such as “clickers” provided by teachers.
- Campus-wide: It supports multiple classes to use it instantaneously in the campus, no matter the class size.
- Cloud-based: It allows teachers to collect students’ responses and generates reports instantly during class.
- Cross-platforms: It works on most of the web browsers, as well as in various digital devices and operation systems.
This workshop will explain the basic operations of the tool as well as share a few ideas on how to use the technology to achieve active and engaged learning.
