全書分為九部分,作者以「辯論」思考法為切入點,說明如何通過自學應對未來挑戰。當中導論(頁31 - 50)回應終身學習的必要性,所涉事例雖以日本為背景,惟放諸今日香港之環境,依然具有參考價值。而第六章(頁203 - 224)則專論搜集資料與引證方法,作者特別指出大學生須揚棄但求應付考試的思考模式,尤富啟發意義。全書結構嚴謹,讀者閱後當能對終身學習的意義有更實質的了解。


從字句到結構 : 學術論文寫作指引

本書共分八章,作者從學習的定義出發,逐步講述影響自學效能的各種因素。其中第二章(頁39 - 54)主要說明如何激發學習動機,指出求知欲既源於自覺的需求,亦有外在環境的影響,應通過具體行動使其實現。第四章(頁81 - 102)則圍繞解決問題作探論,指出界定與處理問題的有效方法,為自我學習提供萬用的解難良方。全書另附圖表及小提醒欄目,讀者如多作參考,當能提高自學技巧。

全書分為九部分,作者以幫助讀者減少學習困難為目標,從學習管理、編製筆記及記憶方式等角度,介紹終身學習的實用技巧。其中第七章(頁133 - 158)介紹SQ3R、Super 6R及OK4R等讀書法,讀者可按照自身需要,選擇合適方法,以期更深入地理解書本內容。而第八章(頁159 - 180)則在說明增強記憶的原理後,列舉分類法、形象法、串連法等方法,務求協助讀者增強記憶力。
