Compete for $5,000 by Filming for Flipped Classrooms

The flipped classroom project in Hong Kong universities is holding a competition on producing a promotional video for flipped classroom practices. Students in UGC-funded universities can form a team of two to five to compete for a maximum cash price of HKD 5,000.

The Project Team of “Effective Implementation of the Flipped Classroom Approach in Hong Kong Higher Education for Enhanced Learning Outcomes” announced the Flipped Classroom Promotional Video Trailer Competition on their website recently, inviting local university students to create a video not more than 2 minutes for promotion flipped classroom practices. The video is expected to show the benefits of learning with the flipped classroom approach and encourages classmates to actively participate in the pre-class activities of a flipped classroom.

Participants need to register on their website on or before 30 Apr 2018. They will need to plan on the production and submit the video file or link through their designated uReply group. Each of top three teams would be awarded a cash price ranging from HKD 2,000 to 5,000.
