Jiangsu-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance Convenes Working Group Meeting in Hong Kong
The Jiangsu-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance (JHMUA) held working group meetings on 19 August and 24 September online in Hong Kong. Participants included representatives from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University and The Hong Kong Metropolitan University. Ms. Wing Wong, Director of China Engagement of CUHK attended the meeting on behalf of the University. The meeting discussed on the alliance’s organizational structure, operating mechanism and professional sub-alliances to work together on the planning of the establishment.
The Jiangsu-Hong Kong – Macao University Alliance was initiated by Nanjing University in 2021. It aims to promote exchanges in talent nurturing, scientific research collaborations and cultural heritage among universities in Jiangsu, Hong Kong and Macao, jointly advancing the development of the Yangtze River Delta region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
