This pandemic destroyed many plans and careers and impacted countless families. But it’s not a reason to stop learning about the world! Let’s explore how the rest of the world is dealing with the pandemic! We will take a virtual trip around the world and hear from guests from a variety of places about how COVID-19 happened in their countries, how the government responded and how various groups of people face this challenge.

Foreigners in Hong Kong: Identity and Culture
It’s easy to categorise “expats” in Hong Kong as a single group, especially when they are ethnically non-Chinese. Perhaps they enjoy going to night clubs and bars? Or they tend to be extroverted and somewhat noisy? Or is the situation more complex than that? Join us for an evening where we explore the identities and cultures in Hong Kong’s community of foreigners and experience how Asia’s World City feels like from the “other side”. All are welcome!
