  • Tentative Schedule: June 2022 (4 weeks)
  • Explore the medical system in Mainland China through rotation and interaction with local practitioners
  • Only for Students from Chinese Medicine, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health

Internship Opportunities 
in Nanjing

(No. of Interns: 16)

  • Tentative Schedule: Mid-June – late July 2022 (6 weeks)
  • Explore different industries in Chongqing, e.g. Banking, Education, Finance, HR, Technology, Museum
  • Involve cultural exchange activities and interflow sessions with local students

Internship Exposure in Cultural &
Tourism Industry in Xi’an

(No. of Interns: 16)

  • Tentative Schedule: Mid-May – late June 2022 (7 weeks)
  • Explore cultural and tourism industry in Xi’an, e.g. Museum, National Heritage Park, Opera Theater, Tourist Resort
  • Include culture exchange activities and interflow sessions with local students
  • Arts and Social Science Students are preferred

Experiential Learning in
Social Service Industry in Guangzhou andFoshan

(No. of Interns: 40)

  • Tentative Schedule: Early-July – mid-August 2022 (6 weeks)
  • Place at Guangzhou or Foshan Qizhi Social Service Centre and serve children in needs through art and creative activities in a summer camp
  • Students interested in social service industry are preferred

Internship Opportunities in Shanghai
(Local + Mainland + International Students)

(No. of Interns: 30)

  • Tentative Schedule: early July – late August 2022 (6 weeks)
  • Collaboration with HKCCC
  • Explore various industries in Shanghai, e.g., Law, Property Management, Technology, Investment, Hotel
  • Include cultural exchange activities and companies visits

I-CARE NGO Internship Programme in Greater China

  • Internship Period: June –  August 2022
  • Organized by the Centre for Social Innovation Studies, the CUHK
  • Place at NGOs in Greater China with trainings provided

  • Undergraduate students from all majors are welcomed

Internship Opportunities in Multinational Companies on the Mainland

  • Internship Duration: Min 4 weeks
  • Having internship at MNCs, SMEs and government bodies in different cities
  • Host: BEA, BOC, Crown Worldwide, DBS, DDB, Fung Group, Gap, Hang Lung, HKETOs, KPMG, Simmons & Simmons, Unilever, etc.
  • Students of Year 2 or above are preferred

Internship Opportunities in ASEAN Countries

  • Internship Duration: Min 4 weeks
  • Having internship at MNCs, SMEs, universities and government bodies in ASEAN countries
  • Host: BOC, HDE, HKETOs, HKTDCs, NUS, PECC, Sino Group, Cathay Pacific Airways, Mandarin Oriental, Meyer Industries, The Ritz Carlton, etc.
  • Students of Year 2 or above are preferred
  • Some internship placements are arranged via ASEAN Internship Scheme for Hong Kong Higher Education Students

Internship Opportunities in Overseas Countries

  • Internship Period: Min 4 weeks
  • Having internship at MNCs, SMEs, universities and government bodies in different countries
  • Host: Euroclear SA/NV, HKETOs, HKTDCs, Sporting Clube de Portugal, WIT, etc.
  • Students of Year 2 or above are preferred
  • Some internship placements are arranged via Internship Scheme for Hong Kong Students in Europe
