Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is available for free as part of the Office365 services. It allows you to have real-time chat, meetings, file sharing and more. Departments can also create a Teams to facilitate project communication and collaboration.

Available to

All staff, students, departments.

Service Charge and Application

Staff / Students: Free; no application required
Department: Free; application required . Check ITSC Service Request User Guide for operation details.

Getting Started

1. Teams Security

Microsoft Teams, as part of the Microsoft 365 (M365) service, provides online collaboration services e.g. meeting, instant messaging, calling and files sharing etc. Check here for details.

2. How to Apply

Reminder

  • If you are just using Meetings, Calls and Chats, you can use directly through https://www.cuhk.edu.hk/o365 without an application.
  • If Departments would like to use Teams and Channels, please see below How to Apply.
