Dr. Sitong Tan and Prof. Houmin Yan have won the Best Paper Award from the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) for the focus issue on Operations Engineering of IIE Transactions for 2003-2004. The paper is entitled “Designing an assembly process with stochastic material arrivals,” (IIE Transactions, Vol. 35, 2003, 803-815, coauthored with CY Lee).

On Thursday July 14 2005, ATOIP’2005 will be held in Taipei, Taiwan as a Parallel Workshop within the Seventeenth International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE’2005).
