AI Text-to-Speech Application
Professor Lee Tan’s team has developed an APP using Artificial intelligence (AI) to help an oral cancer patient who lost her natural voice after surgery to “speak” again in her own voice. The patient can communicate with others by typing words or sentences in the APP and the APP will generate the message in her own voice. The team is still refining the APP and hopes to help more people in need in the future.
