Bolin Ding and Lu Qin, received the best student paper award (shared by two groups: CUHK and UIUC) at the 2007 IEEE 23rd International Conference on Data Engineering, for the paper entitled “Finding Top-k Min-Cost Connected Trees in Databases”.
