簡介  (English Version)

程伯中教授先後于1977年和1981年在英國利物浦大學獲得電機工程與電子學學士學位(一等榮譽)和博士學位。其後由1981年至1982年，他在英國巴夫大學(University of Bath)從事信號處理和語音編碼之研究。1982年回港，並任教于當時的香港理工學院。1984年程伯中教授加入香港中文大學，現為該校卓敏電子工程學研究教授及信興高等工程研究所所長。1998年至2003年，程伯中教授獲選擔任香港中文大學工程學院院長一職。2004年至2008年，則被委任為逸夫書院院長。2006年8月至 2014年底，獲委任為大學副校長。2013年至2014年，任香港中文大學深圳研究院院長。過去三十年間，程伯中教授積極參與國內外各類學術活動。他曾任英國電機工程師學會理事會會員及電機及電子工程師學會香港分會主席。1997年至2000年底，程伯中教授為IEEE信號處理雜誌的副主編，2001年至2003年則為IEEE信號處理快報的副主編，1996年至2004年出任IEEE信號處理理論和方法技術委員會的會員。2001年至2004年，程伯中教授任<<HKIE 雜誌>>主編；及由2001年起任<<數據採集與處理>>雜誌編輯委員會名譽委員。此外，程伯中教授亦曾協助組織多個國際會議，包括1997年的IEEE電路和系統國際研討大會，2003及 2016年舉行的IEEE聲學、語音和信號處理國際大會。程伯中教授分別於2000年及2010年獲頒IEEE Third Millennium Medal及HKIE Hall of Fame。除此之外，程伯中教授長期熱心參與社區服務，分別於2010年獲香港特別行政區頒授銅紫荊星章（BBS）及 2017年獲頒授銀紫荊星章（SBS）以示表揚，程教授目前是香港獸醫管理局主席，納米及先進材料研發院有限公司董事局主席，邵逸夫獎基金會理事會委員，亦同時擔任香港博物館諮詢委員會委員及科學專責委員會主席。2018至2020擔任香港工程科學院主席，2009至2015程教授擔任第一任香港檢測和認證局主席，2010至2017擔任創新及科技督導委員會及諮詢委員會委員，2012至2018擔任為香港應用科技研究院（ASTRI）的董事局成員，2006至2014擔任物流及供應鏈管理應用技術研發中心（LSCM）的董事會成員，2012至2013年擔任大珠三角商務委員會委員，2005至2010年為香港研究資助局學科小組委員，2005至2009年擔任香港品質保證局董事，2003至2009年為版權審裁署委員，2002至2008年為機電工程署電氣安全諮詢委員。2000至2006年期間亦曾擔任消費者委員會的委員 及 香港認可諮詢委員會主席。程伯中教授亦是清華大學、北京郵電大學、華中科技大學、東南大學及中國科學院聲學研究所的客座教授。
