What is it?
This internship program is designed for CU Physics undergraduates to work as full-time student trainees in the Hong Kong Observatory in Jan-Dec, 2017 (12 months).
Who are eligible to apply?
If you are a PHY undergraduate in the year 2016-17, you are eligible to apply. You should also have a good academic record and are interested in various areas of meteorology, for example, numerical weather forecast. We look for motivated students who have a solid physics background, who are independent, creative, and can get along well with others.
How about stipend?
Successful applicants will work on project for 12 months normally and will receive a scholarship at a rate of HK$9,600 per month.

Partcipants' responsibilities
- To comply with and complete any jobs as assigned by supervisors in the HKO.
- Each participant is required to give both an oral and a written report at the end of each semester.

A briefing session will be held on Sep 26, 2016 (Mon) at 4:30 pm in SC G26
