This course aims to equip students with knowledge and skills in utilizing information and communication technologies (ICTs) to develop, operate, manage, and evaluate social services. The course will focus on the non-profit organizations and public administration contexts to teach and discuss how ICTs can be innovatively applied for social good, and how we can harness the new technologies to ensure their usage to be ethical and sustainable. No previous training in IT or computer science is required.
