Prof. Phyllis King Shui WONG obtained the sponsorship from the Equal Opportunities Commission in 2020 and produced three public education videos on self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities (IDs).
The videos facilitate the public to gain a deeper understanding of the self-determination of people with IDs from three perspectives: how people with IDs themselves perceive their self-determination; the roles of disability practitioners and family members in supporting their self-determination; and the practical skills which help enhance their self-determination.
