Research Interests

Our current research interests lie in the chemistry of various functional dyes, particularly phthalocyanines and boron dipyrromethenes, focusing on their syntheses and biomedical applications.
The ongoing projects include:
A. Exploration of multifunctional molecular and nano-photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy
B. Use of bioorthogonal chemistry for theranostic applications
C. Development of efficient peptide conjugation methods
D. Development of molecular-based fluorescent sensors and logic devices
E. Synthetic studies of low-symmetry phthalocyanines
F. Catalytic applications of phthalocyanines
