EDB Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) for Academic Year 2021/22
The EDB Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) is now inviting applications. Among the scholarships/ awards established under the Scheme, graduates of 2021 may apply for the Best Progress Award (BPA), which encourages and recognizes students with significant progress and improvement. The award for each local or non-local student is HK$10,000.

Eligibility and Criteria for Nominations::

Nominee should have already completed two consecutive academic years in his/her programme. He/she should have achieved a CGPA of not less than 2.5 out of 4.0.
The awards will be nominated with reference to the following criteria:
i. the intensity of academic improvement of at least two consecutive academic years; and
ii. the cumulative GPA at the time of nomination

General Rules:
A student may only be awarded the BPA once throughout his/her studies of the relevant programme.

Selection Mechanism and Announcement of Results:

All nominations will be assessed by an independent selection panel of our School before submission to EDB.
All nominations will be considered and approved by the Sub-committee on Support Measures of the CSPE. It reserves the right of final decision.
The successful nominations will be announced to our School in writing after endorsement. Those nominated for a scholarship or award shall be informed by our School for the disbursement of scholarship/award money.

Please submit the hardcopy of application documents to our Programme Assistant at one of the learning centres.
