Introduction:
Prof. Leung is Dean of Faculty of Education and Professor of Department of Educational Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his B.A. degree in Psychology and his M.S. and Ph.D degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed psychologist of Texas, U.S.A. Previously, he had served as a faculty member in the counseling psychology programs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Houston.
Prof. Leung has been actively involved in training and supervision of counselors. He had supervised doctoral and master level counseling practicum students in his previous faculty positions in the U.S.
Prof. Leung has published extensively in career development, career assessment, and cross-cultural counseling. In addition to his research, he has been actively involved in editorial work. He was the Associate Editor of The Counseling Psychologist, the official journal of the counseling psychology division of the American Psychological Association. He is currently the editor of Asian Journal of Counselling, and is on the editorial board of International Journal for the Advancement of Counselling and International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance.
