1 Objectives
MS Access is one of the most popular database software in the commercial world. MS Access is a powerful, mature relational database management system (RDBMS) which runs under the Windows environment. Participants are expected to learn how to view, manipulate and find required data using Access visual tools quickly and easily. Participants are capable of fully applying what they have learnt in class on their real business.
2 Course Content
1. Building up a database concept, table design, fields, data type, data entry, working with records;
2. Relationships, Queries, Forms, Reports, Macros;
3. Querying a database data search, Update query;
4. Maintaining a database relationship, index, referential integrity;
5. Presenting data reports and forms;
6. Advanced topics macros and modules, GUI as menu;
7. Working with Hyperlinks;
8. Introduction to Application Development;
9. Other Useful Tools:Importing and Exporting, Compact & Repair, Object Dependencies;
10. Database Security.
Each participant will be provided with one PC terminal for hands-on practice.
