About Us
LASEC Transgenic and Cryogenic Facility (LTCF) is embedded in LASEC to provide cryopreservation, recovery and rederivation of mouse lines using a wide range of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs), facilitating the creation and management of genetically engineered mouse models for scientific research. Tailor-made strain services including strain rescue and speed expansion are also available upon request.

Reproductive Sciences
Cryopreservation & StorageCryopreservation archives mouse strains for long-term storage and protects them against genetic drift and accidental loss.
Import & CryorecoveryCryorecovery is used to re-establish a line from frozen stock, either from the LTCF’s archive or another repository.
RederivationEmbryo transfer is an effective method to rederive mice known to be infected with viruses, bacteria, and parasites.
Strain RescueOur custom-made service can rescue your endangered mouse strain from extinction due to breeding cessation or to health issues.
Speed Colony ExpansionSpeed expansion service via in vitro fertilization (IVF) is able to rapidly expand your mouse colony for production of experimental cohort.
Research CollaborationWe look forward to working with you to achieve your research goals in the near future!

Genome Engineering Technologies
Pronuclear/ Cytoplasmic MicroinjectionThis technique provides an efficient means of introducing foreign DNA, RNA, and ribonucleoproteins into the mouse genome for production of genetically engineered mouse model (GEMM).
