About the talk
To mark the Chinese translation of her book,  A Primer in Ecotheology: Theology for a Fragile World, Professor Deane-Drummond, a leading scholar, will sketch the developments of ecotheology in the last half-century. Six years ago, Pope Francis issued Laudato Si’, a groundbreaking encyclical calling on all Catholics and people of goodwill toward ecological conversion. Members of faith communities and academic institutes are invited to join in this urgent discussion—how to respond and put in practice ecological awareness.
