OneELED 2016-2017
On 10 September 2016, more than 140 students and graduates of the B.A. (English Studies) and B.Ed. (English Language Education) Co-terminal Double Degree (ELED) Programme, Level I academic advisors, ELED Advisory Committee members and Community of Practice mentors gathered at Auditorium B6, Ho Tim Building, Faculty of Education, for a warm and fruitful afternoon. The theme of OneELED 2016 is Language Across the Curriculum (LAC). We were happy to have Professor Angel Lin and Dr. Tracy Cheung from the Faculty of Education of the University of Hong Kong to share their views on the concepts and projects of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Hong Kong, and our ELED alumnus Mr. Ng Ka Lok from St. Francis Xavier’s College to share his works and practices of LAC in his serving school.
The OneELED is an annual event organized by ELED graduates and current students. It aims to provide a platform for professional exchanges and experience sharing among English teaching professionals.
