This is an advanced seminar course on topics in research methodology in the study ofeducation. Topics may include methodical issues and skills in data collection, data management, data analysis and interpretation of results. Recent developments in qualitative or quantitative approaches to education research may be covered. Hands-on experiences will be provided as far as possible. Students should generally have taken at least one introductory course (1.5 units) in education research methodology in this faculty and obtained prior consent from instructor concerned.
