Mr. LUI Lawrence
Mr Lawrence Lui is serving as the Global Communications Director of Chen Yidan Foundation, a private foundation established set-up by the co-founder of Tencent, overseeing a new programme to support the development of global future education.
Lawrence graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Public Relations and Advertising at the School of Communication, Hong Kong Baptist University. He had served as PR consultant at Ogilvy PR and Weber Shandwick before setting up the first social enterprise PR agency in Hong Kong; he gained rich experience of corporate communications, new media management, corporate social innovation and social impact measurement.
Lawrence is an active volunteer. He cofounded several charities including IDEA Project, Education For Good CIC, Fullness Social Enterprises Society and Golden Age Foundation, to promote global citizenship and education innovations. He was the champion of the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge, Clinton Global Initiative University Scholar and Schoenfeld Foundation ECSEL Fellow.
Through joining the mentorship scheme, Lawrence hopes to share his social entrepreneurship journey with fellow students and encourage them to be the change agents of global social issues.
