Professor LOONG Herbert Ho-fung

Dr. Herbert H. F. Loong is an Associate Professor (Clinical) in the Department of Clinical Oncology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He obtained his medical degree with a Distinction in Surgery from The University of Hong Kong in 2003. He subsequently completed his postgraduate internal medicine and medical oncology training in Queen Elizabeth Hospital and also Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. He was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2006 and a Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Physicians and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in 2010. He has completed a Fellowship in Drug Development at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada with a special focus on Experimental Therapeutics, Sarcoma Medical Oncology and Neuro-oncology.

He has continued his clinical and research interests since his fellowship in Toronto, and has joined the Department of Clinical Oncology, CUHK since March 2014.
