Application for College Exchange Scholarships 2018/19

Outgoing Exchange Scholarships are now open for application. Interested students please complete an online application first and submit a printed copy of your confirmation email  along with other supporting documents to "Mr. Howard Kwan, Dean of Students' Office, 1/F Cheng Ming Building, New Asia College" on or before 5:00 p.m. 9 April 2018 (Monday). Late submission will NOT be accepted.



Eligibility

Unless otherwise specified, students participating in year or semester exchange programmes in 2018/19 are eligible to apply for the below exchange scholarships. Recipients are required to complete the whole exchange programme.

Applicants must submit an Online Application form and submit the printed confirmation email along with the hard copy of the following supporting documents to the "Mr. Howard Kwan, Dean of Students' Office, 1/F Cheng Ming Building, New Asia College" on or before 5:00 p.m. 9 April 2018 (Monday).

^1 The recommendation needs to be completed & sent through mail by a CUHK teaching staff to "Mr. Howard Kwan, Dean of Students' Office, 1/F Cheng Ming Building, New Asia College". There is no need to submit another one for this application if applicants have already submitted a recommendation form in another scholarship application in this year. Applicants can specify this in the online application form.

 

^2  For Financial documents, you are required to submit:

            1) Salary proof (e.g. Income statement, Tax bill, Bank account's monthly statement)

            2) Housing cost (e.g. Rental contract showed the monthly rental payment or demand note of monthly installment)

            3) Grant/loan approval letter (if any)

            4) Or any other documents (e.g. a self-written income statement) showed the income flows of your household members

            of all household members (including applicant) in the period from 1 January to 31 December 2017.

There is no need to submit another set of financial documents for this application if applicants have already submitted 1 set in another scholarship application in this year. Applicants can specify this in the online application form.
